Jenga Fail

It seems that this should be fake because there can’t be a reportere this freaking stupid, but then again, they would have to build that thing out of Jenga blocks just to set up this ridiculous video, and we all know how frustrating playing even a game of Jenga is…

College Males Admit to Getting Stoked

Don’t know why I didn’t post this sooner because when I first heard about this statistic I was indubitably stoked. Also, Duncan Birch FTW.

Interactive NYC Income Map

Great map called Who Lives Here that gives you a breakdown of media income and distribution across various NYC neighborhoods. It even goes out all the way to the outer limits of Brooklyn and is really well put together.

Real Estate in Boston

Apparently some real estate history was made in Boston recently with the sale of some luxury condos in the Back Bay, and I would say this quote sums up what really went down

“We have set a new standard for how to move inventory in the luxury market. This was totally, absolutely, gigantically brilliant.”

Complex put together a couple of great lists of the Top 100 things of the 2000s, such as Sneakers, Albums, and a bunch of other stuff, but here is a link to the Top 100 Internet Videos of the 2000s. One of my personal favorites below:

World’s Worst Lovers

I totally understand German men being ranked as the worst lovers in the world, but Americans being the 5th worst is just appalling. In addition, it is so freaking typical that the Spanish and Brazilians would be ranked at the top. Here is my plan, re-contact the 15,000 women polled, bring them to the U.S., give me a year and I will improve that ranking.

7 More Sites You Should Be Wasting Your Time On

Another great collection of sites put together that you should be wasting your time on. Some of them are slightly concerning like Why the F*** Do You Have a Kid? as well as Crappy Taxidermy, but others including Things Not To Ask a Cop are pretty much just hilarious. Sample image from Things Not To Ask a Cop below:

GQ Rankings

GQ recently released a list of America’s 25 Douchiest Colleges, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Duke was rated number 2, and this is only because they didn’t want to rate Duke no. 1 at anything, even though they probably are.

Amazing Homes

HuffPost has a cool slideshow of ten of the best homes of world leaders, believe or not, Liechtenstein’s Vaduz Castle was the fan favorite, and I have to admit it is pretty awesome.

Gladwell on Underdogs

Whether or not you think some of his conclusions are a stretch (as many friends of mine do) Malcolm Gladwell certainly does put out interesting hypothesis, and makes for good reading. His piece on underdogs is quite good.

Risk

A simple and easy to way to understand risk better, it’s so easy to be misled by what the media reports as a solid correlation.
