Only one question, what the hell is that white dude doing there?
Or not so much, but still a hilarious video from Groove Armada for their new single History.

So Cee-Lo has a new song out called “F*** You”, which is actually pretty good and I enjoyed the music video, that has been set to a classic scene in Shawshank Redemption in which Andy puts on opera music for all to hear. Apparently the Dallas Observer was responsible for this, who knew.

Someone calling themselves the “Rap Genius” has put together a google map with important locations/events from rap history. It’s a cool way to learn more about the lyrics behind the songs check it out.
As previously mentioned, I’m thinking Scott Pilgrim actually looks like a decent movie, even though Galifianakis has nothing to do with. But that doesn’t matter because he is going to do what he damn well pleases, even if it isn’t his interview.

Kind of NSFW with the girl in underwear but the idea is just too cool to pass up. I loved the old school choose your own adventure books and this takes it to the next level, following a video adventure based on what you pick at the end of each video.

Ferrell is back on the site today, and this time dressed in a ridiculous outfit while talking to Letterman. He follows his interview portion with an amazing song…

Unfortunately Vampire Weekend, one of my favorite bands, is being sued by the girl they used on the cover of their amazing album Contra. Here is what their album could have looked like if she had told them beforehand that she didn’t want them to use her image. By the way, can’t wait to go see them September 5th in Chicago.

An inventive idea that comes through for sure, but it would have been cooler to do it with someone other than Jewel, even though this crowd is thoroughly stoked by her appearance.

Sort of wish those other guys would just let the man dance, unlike this kid, who should just keep imitating Gaga.

I figure when you put all those things together you get at least a decent video, especially considering Ok Go’s last video, what we’ve recently seen from the Muppets, and of course the always timeless, Mr. Galifianakis.
South African group Die Antwoord has been absolutely blowing up. The Smoking Section has a good writeup on them and the futuristic ninja rap they have been pumping out. Their first video enter the ninja has almost 5 million views and this is their newest video is almost at 3 million – proof that with some good production value and personality anyone can make it. As you can tell by this taxijam session they definitely have personality. Also, love the freestyle from what looks like a bomb shelter he does a hell of a girl impression.
