Fake BP Twitter Account

Some pretty hilarious people have setup a fake Twitter account for BP public relations and they have some great tweets. Starting with: We regretfully admit that something has happened off of the Gulf Coast. More to come. And soon following with a myriad of other greats and even a BP Cares t-shirt. When you combine that sort of viral response with this Washington Post report it Seems this thing is really catching on fire so to speak:

“Obama’s clenched jaw is becoming an increasingly familiar sight. During one of those sessions in the Oval Office the first week after the spill, a president who rarely vents his frustration cut his aides short, according to one who was there. ‘Plug the damn hole,’ Obama told them.”

Amazing video put together of the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull, which virtually halted all air travel across Europe, as shown by this other time lapse video, by spewing an ash cloud over the entire continent as shown by this visualization. It’s as if the people of Europe said, “Hey, we want to fly around and do stuff,” and Nature was just like, “Yea, not so much.”
