God knows we love Bill Haler, I mean he’s Stefon how can you not? Now he has teamed up with VW who has been putting out great commercials for a while. The result is the genius of the new series of ads for the Jetta, the Tiguan, and my favorite for the Touareg:
Pretty solid commercial for the Logitech Revue, which is powered by Google TV, starring Kevin Bacon as Kevin Bacon’s biggest fan. BTW, he does a great Kevin Bacon impersonation. Now that’s is some good Bacon.

Check out this ad directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola, pretty solid, although I would prefer the girl.

When I first saw a link for this video I didn’t get to excited, I mean how can you beat the Old Spice commercials? I mean Ray Lewis on a raven, Terry Crews screaming shirtless, riding a horse on the beach backwards, monocle smile! But then the clam bit him on the nose and I was sold. I think I need to start watching Sesame Street a lot more often, or at least find muppets to entertain me.

Pleasantly surprised that Kimmel has been putting together some pretty funny stuff recently, and I’m really excited for the show to come back on tonight and start another season of comedy greatness.

A great ad for this prestigious University started by none other than Glenn Beck, who is certifiably crazy.
Clearly there has been a giant response to their first commercials involving a horse and the next one that ends with a motorcycle, and now they are thanking everyone for their positive response here and with the below video. Monocle smile FTW.

Hello ladies how are you fantastic = officially my new greeting for everyone. Old Spice is doing one hell of a job putting together som entertaining viral ads, chalk this one up as one of my favorites along with their intense ads. I would also like to request someone get me a hot tub with a motorcycle in it.

Dumbdumb, the production company started by Will Arnett and Jason Bateman has put out their first set of branded content for Orbitz gum. They do a great job of pushing the envelope while highlighting the brand, Rickey Van Veen who founded Collegehumor gave a talk highlighting how to create quality viral branded content and I think these guys hit the nail on the head.
Now that the Mac vs. PC ads are finally coming to an end, it might be nice to look back and reflect on how much they actually over used this advertising campaign, or not, if you find the ads frighteningly annoying. I enjoyed the video, and will be happy to see the end of the campaign, even though it definitely had its moments, such as when they had Gisele Bundchen in one, and the many spoofs it spawned like the PS3 vs. Wii (Warning, a hot girl plays the Wii). By the way, if you didn’t already know, John Hodgman, the guy who plays the PC, is actually a Mac user since 1984.

And ridiculously hard to watch. Don’t let this video fool you because it starts out with the boring City Manager trying to plead his case, this thing really gets rocking, and the whole town gets into it! I honestly only got about a minute in before I needed to take a break from the over the top corniness. You’ve got to wait til the end for the real winner in this video though…
