Notice I didn’t mention Karl Pilkington, because you most likely haven’t heard of him, which is a travesty! He is the strange, goofy, and hilarious individual upon whom the documentary focuses. He was a regular presence on the Ricky Gervais podcast and you can meet him in this hilarious video. Preview for the documentary below:

Someone calling themselves the “Rap Genius” has put together a google map with important locations/events from rap history. It’s a cool way to learn more about the lyrics behind the songs check it out.

I was starting to get really tired of ridiculous movies being put into 3D late in their production cycle just because James Cameron did it. But I’ve got a feeling the stunts these guys pull in 3D will be worth every crappy ad for Step It Up 3D I had to sit through.

As per usual Jimmy provides a consistent laugh track while Will keeps it rolling, but you have to give Fallon credit he’s definitely been more creative with his comedy than the other late night hosts (see George Lopez).

What do you get when you combine the SyFy channel and Roger Corman? Well clearly a shark octopus hybrid created as a viscous killing machine by the navy – no I’m not joking.

Yeah you heard me right, Paul was killing it with that air guitar!

I had no idea he so rarely did extended interviews, and this one with GQ does not disappoint. It’s easy to forget how well he has navigated his career but just look at a contemporary like Chevy Chase, poor poor Chevy Chase. Couple of gems:

-I love that in order to get in touch with him you call and 800 number and he calls you back if he wants to

-Makes a great point that actors should watch the making-of DVDs to find out if they want to work with directors

-Doesn’t deny the stories about sneaking up behind people in New York City, covering their eyes with your hands, and saying: Guess who. And when they turn around, they see Bill Murray and hear the words “No one will ever believe you.”

It seems like there are a lot of these “documentary type” movies coming out recently, but this one is produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay so it will probably be worth checking out.
